Joe Biden has approved a sanctions waiver allowing arm sales to Qatar, Lebanon, and Iraq one day before denying arms to Israel.
I don’t really buy into the “forever war” talking point dominating the people who use “uniparty” and “neocon” as shorthand to describe their rage at those who keep beating them in public policy fights. But it is hard to imagine how allowing Houthi and Iranian allies to get weapons will somehow stop the turmoil in the Middle East.
The land flowing with milk and honey is being dictated to by the land flowing with mendacity and whorishness and Biden whores himself to antisemites in Dearborn, MI, whose votes he covets. He claimed he’d stand with Israel and has now sold them out.
The irony is that Israel will now kill many more people because it will not use American made precision guided weapons, but its general ammunition. Biden’s body count just keeps going up.
As I mentioned, this is the impeachable offense.
But I want to mention one more thing.
What gets missed by so many Americans is that much of the political and policy punditry at play here and the policy making is over people’s hatred of Israel’s Prime Minister.
In Israel, across the political spectrum, people are divided on the Prime Minister, but united in the need to wipe out Hamas.
In this country, every issue with Israel is related to how one views Israel’s Prime Minister. People in the United States on the left cannot separate the two. It is a level of immaturity within the mendacity. They are fine with Israel so long as Israel votes their preferred way.
What is an existential threat to Israel is just a topic of the day in Washington. Our mendacious and whorish policy makers do not like that Bibi will not perform for them as they desire. So the entire nation of Israel will be punished.
Likewise, if Trump gets re-elected in this country, these same people will judge you, the American people, harshly and condemn you. They trust no one but themselves and those who whore for them.
On Another Matter
Oh did I stir the pot online last night.
My denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America, has put David French on a panel to talk about pastoral support. David lives rent free in lots of people’s heads and whenever he writes or comes up, the pitch forks and torches come out. It’s a choice to be outraged by David and many people choose to be.
David and I long ago diverged on lots of topics, politically and theologically. But having him be one of several people on a panel at a PCA event strikes me as fine. Not everyone in the denomination gets along with each other.
But I had to revise my opinion learning David is out of the PCA. I’m sorry to see him go, but I would say it is ill advised to have on a panel before the PCA someone who has left the PCA. It’d be far better to have someone who was never in the denomination than one who chose to leave it.
I appreciate David and my friendship with him, even as we disagree (particularly about his terrible taste in movies), but having left the PCA, I’d suggest it probably is not wise to do this.
Biden and his whole administration just absolutely sickens me and that goes for the rest of the democrats in Washington. The republicans may be like a clown car right now, but I think “ I think” that for the most part their hearts are in the right place.
fine with Israel so long as Israel votes their preferred way...
Like our institutions, progressives are fine with them as long as they serve progressive ideology, they are illegitimate otherwise.
Liberalism is the same the world over and throughout history, it's cult is consistent and predictable.
