The Associated Press wants an “independent” investigation into whether it was sharing office space with Hamas, an internationally designated terrorist group. The press has found a way to turn the Israeli situation into a story about the press.
What is left out of the story is that the Associated Press has a history of giving Hamas a pass while working with Hamas to tell the story in Gaza. The Atlantic has reported how the AP refuses to cover events at Hamas’s request. In a lengthy report from the AP on Hamas’s office getting bombed — the one in which the AP worked — the news organization fails to even mention Hamas.
A CNN producer is cheering on Germany in sports because Hitler killed the Jews. NBC News is running stories about Gaza from Gaza health officials without noting Hamas, the terrorist group, runs the health department and might, just might, not be telling the truth.
The Washington Post is taking op-eds that suggest if more Israelis die, Israel might seek peace, but the Iron Dome is, unfortunately, keeping too many Jews alive.
Meanwhile, a former Obama Administration official also confirms Hamas actually operated out of the building in which the AP worked.
Twitter allows an Iranian propaganda outfit on to show Hamas officials trapped underground while claiming it is people trapped in their houses that Israel blew up.
While all of this is happening, the head of the CDC would like you to know the science has changed in just two weeks to let them know the vaccines actually work enough for people to not wear masks. Remember, just two weeks ago, the same head of the CDC was saying kids on a soccer field need to wear masks. But also, the CDC wants you to know people don’t need to be in a rush to take off their masks.
Rep. Lee Zeldin, who wanted to overturn the Electoral College for a stolen election, is now running for Governor in New York claiming the election was legitimate.
How can anyone trust anything anymore? The media spins, lies, distorts, and propagandizes. The government’s public health experts flip on a dime due to political pressure even while denying it. The politicians lie to their base and flip on a dime.
All our institutions are failing us. Those in charge will not be honest. The media picks sides. Is it any wonder the conspiracists are running rampant and people are turning to their confirmation biases for reassurance and news?
The failures are greater than the successes. The lies outnumber the truth. This is not healthy for our society and it will end badly for all of us. The truth is being set aside for agendas and the press, which should be committed to the truth, is more committed to preferred narratives.
This world is not my home. So I just put my pants on and go to work every morning. I vote, pay taxes, pay my tithe. I’m a good citizen. Just waitin on the Rapture. Got my lamp stands full of oil and lit.
I've never been a very cynical person. But must say that it gets harder and harder not to suspiciously look at any and every article, statement by a politician, etc.
I have liberal friends who are Jewish and remained miffed as to how they continue to support a party and media that seems to be doing everything it can to help the Arab world wipe out Israel. I've asked more than one friend how they reconcile that. And to this day, I haven't gotten a good answer. One telling me that they put a lot of trust in their Rabbi, who tells them that Israel will always be protected by God.
As Erick has stated many times before, facts are no longer relevant. Especially with the woke. And we saw evidence of Erickson's prediction that once the Woke is done with middle and the right, they'll come for each other. Apparently Ellen Degeneres has been cancelled. Ellen Degeneres!
To my knowledge, there is not one news organization that will just simply put out the facts. How nice it would for a well financed organization to present both sides and let you decide. If I had the money, I would start it up right now; because whoever does this is going to do quite well. The fact vacuum that tribalism has created is massive and the person or persons that move to fill this is going to become quite wealthy.
