Why is it that people are so insistent to change Christianity to meet their life style. My life revolves around Jesus not the other way around.

This is my opinion. The whole “Jesus is a refugee” is not a message of faith or acceptance. It’s using Jesus to further their leftist agenda. That’s why I have a problem with it. They at first lament and criticize everything about religion and then use it as a political. See Warnock ad campaign 2022.

They don’t really believe in religion or Christ but if it gets them a few thousand votes they will use it.

As for the the “he gets us” the message is fine in my opinion but the relentless spending on it is not.

The Mormons have a whole ad campaign like “pass it along” etc.. but they don’t use millions of dollars. It’s mostly funded by donations and that.

I agree churches need not get into the culture war. It’s a trap by the left to get churches to accept the worldly evils as normal. These churches want to be hip and cool and relevant to todays youth. That’s a slippery slope to stay away from.

Jesus preached to sinners he didn’t partake in their sins. Churches need to spend their money elsewhere and stop worrying about their opinion polls or how their Facebook trends are doing. Stop trying to be a part of this secular evil world that hates it. Come back to Jesus.
