As long as people argue for unlimited funding without any accountability for Ukraine, the less I trust them. Ignoring the corruption of Ukraine and demanding we agree to fund them or we are Russian sympathizers is not a good argument. If there were a good reason to fund them, one would be able to make the argument while making transparent where the money goes and how it is used and NOT call people Russian sympathizers. I think Putin is evil. I also think we have no idea how money is being used by Ukraine.

Sometimes we need to provide aid to take on what we call the evil empire. Russia with Putin, Iran with their Arab masters and China with Zi certainly qualify as nations bent on expansion of their territory.

My point is we need accountability for our arms, money and blood used to accomplish these missions. There has been no accountability for the fiasco in Afghanistan. Our military and civilian leadership left enough arms and ammunition to equip the Taliban for the next 40 years.

There has to be an end game based on a sound achievable strategy. I believe that is lacking in many of our adventures because politics gets into the way. With Israel our goal should be destroying Hamas, period. The fight in Ukraine needs a boost but our not supplying long range weapons and air needed early in the fight may have sealed their fate
