I don't understand why people cannot or will not understand the 10th Amendment. If you want a national anything that doesn't appear in the Constitution, you have to pass a constitutional amendment to get it. Otherwise, just like Roe, it is unconstitutional. That's the structure the founding fathers wisely created. Fight this battle at the state levels and you'll win. Try to fight it at the federal level and you'll ultimately lose. It's very simple. Ah, but the GOP just can't stand victory and always have to figure out a way to snatch defeat from its jaws. We won the abortion debate. It lies at the state level. Let's move on to school choice so we can hold our gains by breaking the monopoly on telling the story about how and why our country was founded or we'll lose everything in the short-sightedness of the modern GOP.

As a PRO-LIFE person, I would like to ask others to vote in their state to make any change to Pro-Life. When a Pro-Life Center was only about 3 years old, my wife, a nurse, started to volunteer there a lot of hours every week and I was elected to the board of Directors. We spent 13 years there and it really grew from a rented couple of rooms in a three story building, to owning the whole building, and one paid staff to eight paid staff. And shortly after my wife passed away from Cancer, I left as well and a young man took over as the Director of the Center. That was about 20 years ago. He has taken it to where they just opened the FOURTH location in a major city with owning most locations and still growing. This is in a proabortion state.
