"It doesn’t matter that a rightfully elected President by a plurality of voters..."

The Soviet Union's definition of peace was the absence of resistance.

For progressives the purpose of government is to implement liberal policies via the administrative state; the whole separation of powers and legislative process being too unreliable. As Obama said, "[the Constitution is] a charter of negative liberties.... It doesn't say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf."

The Constitution does not exist in a vacuum, it sets up the structure of the federal government for the express reasons. laid out in the Declaration of Independence, which clearly states the purpose of government, the protection of nature rights.

The Construction has two provisions for change, 1) an amendment process, 2) revolution against tyranny. The later has a specific definition, the government no longer protects the natural rights in the Declaration of Independence.

Lincoln rejected the South 's secession as being a revolution, it was insurrection.

Progressives fundamentally rejected the founding. Government must evolve, and they have succeeded in that evolution over the last 100 years. They believe Republicans, Conservatives, Trump are the insurrectionist against the evolved administrative state.

Insurrection must be put down and violence is a necessary tactic.

I wonder what line item out of USAid is paying for those protestors? Pass the popcorn please.

I was shocked to hear the violence coming from the pulpit today on your show. The left progressive need to hear themselves out loud.

The propensity towards violence is nothing new. The guiding light of these so-called progressives, and I say so called because they are truly nihilistic regressive, is Marx has his application of Hegel’s dialectic.

Until and unless we start sending some these perps to prison for their crimes in government, they left feels emboldened to keep pushing until it breaks.

Ironically in light of the massive spending graft from USAID and other agencies that have gone directly to Democrat NGOs and media sources that have been involved in attacking Republicans and helping Democrats win, Jan-6 appears to be justified except for the few that fought the police.

Erick: Hilarious that you could write this with a straight face after the events of 1/6.

It was called a protest of unarmed people and it is constitutionally protected free speech.

Since when is beating cops free speach?

And a pastor who calls for violence.

Jesus never preached the need for violence.

The book of revelations spoke of false teachings and false churches.

Looks like we are already there.

For the most part I think people are satisfied with the way things are going. It’s the political progressives that are having a meltdown. How could we the people be happy with what Trump is doing? Democrats in Washington are fanning the flames of hate and violence. Just who do they represent? Their only concern is their personal interests and their power. I believe something awful is going to happen and the democrats will be responsible.

Yep, It's mostly greed. That deadly sin progressives are happily pointing out in anyone not on their ideological side.

Vice President Vance made a post on X (https://x.com/JDVance/status/1888607143030391287) which I interpreted as "the judges that are stopping President Trump's orders have no authority to do so". My question is what would happen if President Trump ignored the judge's orders. What are the judges avenues of resolution?

Kathy's avatar

I don't believe they have any enforcement powers. No one stopped Biden or Obama when they ignored the order of a judge.

Secretary of State Rubio must have a press conference describing what was found in the accounting of USAID.

The Secretary of Treasury, Bessent, must have a press conference describing what has been found in initial audits.

This administration is allowing the Media to control the conversation.... again.

Is it possible with USAID not scattering dollars that the mobs of protesters WON'T find funding to have large violent protests? I realize that there are lone wolves, though, too.

Democrats are elected on telling you what you want to hear.

BUT when in office they do what helps them and what they think is good for the Party.

And funding friends that fund their reelection campaigns.

They are intent on firing someone up enough to make another assassination attempt for one thing. And I am sure we will see violence in the streets again, paid for by the usual suspects. I hope no one thought that just winning the election was going to make them back down. They want the civil war.

Joe Hatfield's avatar

They're nowhere near done. They're going to try and assassinate Trump again. This is a very dangerous time.

Joe Hatfield's avatar

Are Progressives Turning Violent? Heck, Erick, that's their MO when they don't get what they want..

Franklyn Murphy's avatar

It's called throwing a tantrum.

bumpy364's avatar

How else do you set yourself apart from the other progressives as you apply for professorships at elite schools?

Those former Weather Underground people shouldn't be teaching at universities...
