Biden’s Border Theater
Most people on the right are missing the significance of the timing of Biden’s executive order that will limit daily asylum seekers at the southern border. In short, this White House is again letting the polls dictate policy.
Poll after poll shows that immigration ranks next to the economy as the two main issues voters care about. Since Biden can’t lower prices, he’s trying to win back moderates by acting tough on the border through issuing an executive order he previously said was impossible. But by announcing the order five months before the election, the disgruntled progressives have time to file an injunction and likely have the order lifted before election day.
Update: As I write this and as I predicted this morning, the ACLU is suing the White House over this order.
The White House believes the politics of this play well into Biden’s hands. Biden gets to act tough on the border while ultimately leaving the border wide open and making the judicial system the ultimate scapegoat. But ultimately, the same voters who were unphased by Trump’s guilty verdict will continue to view him as a President who only acts when politically expedient.
Similar to his evolving border stance, Biden has held every imaginable position on Israel’s response to Hamas and changed his tune as the radical Muslims in Michigan and the blue-haired college kids told him to. Biden went from proudly touting the term Bidenomics to completely omitting it and asking other Democrats to do the same when the polling turned. The level of incompetency runs so deep in this White House that they forgot to buy the URL for Bidenomics.com and now, my friends at Americans For Prosperity own it.
While the White House wants to play games with border politics and accentuate Trump’s conviction last week, Bloomberg reports that 2 out of 3 middle-class Americans are facing economic hardships while Saudi Arabia plans to raise oil prices ahead of summer driving season. As Biden wages a regulatory war on fossil fuels and convenience, the kitchen table issues voters care about are only getting worse. The ultimate irony is the same polls Biden is chasing continue to show him trailing a convicted felon in the six states that will decide the election. Here’s my full take:
I think everyone on the right is well aware of Biden's obvious move on the border! All of us probably rightly predicted it! He is more despicable every passing day and I cannot wait until November to get him out of there. He is a wicked, calculating man-even in his feeble state.
It's simple: The wide-open border is secure not secure and the root cause of any confusion is the unwilling close mindedness of the open-minded supporters who don't support the rationally consistent unstable situation clearly explained obfuscationally by the lead follower of the democratic system by which all right thinking socialist republics are controlled.
