Biden’s Weakness Emboldened Putin’s Invasion
The latest tension between Russia and Ukraine is widely misperceived to be a recent development. The reality is that Vladimir Putin’s world view of Ukraine being a part of Russia was shaped during his days as a KGB officer.
Under President Obama, Putin was emboldened to annex Crimea and lay claim to major cities in eastern Ukraine. Now, thanks to Biden’s weakness, Putin feels emboldened to take the rest of Ukraine. Biden’s weakness stemming from his failed withdrawal from Afghanistan has put Russia in the driver’s seat while the rest of the world watches our next move. Take a listen:
