I highlighted this clip from Matt Egan this morning. I speculated that he and others in the press are pushing a left-wing talking point. But a few minutes ago, during my radio show, I realized it really is a left-wing talking point, and CNN obstructed you from seeing it.
Here is the clip again:
Egan, in his work, includes this chart:
Notice how the CNN logo buries the source.
That would be the left-wing Center for American Progress. You can find that report here, written by Nicole Svajlenka, a fellow at the Center for American Progress.
This is blatant leftwing propaganda that CNN covered up with its logo. And, in fact, Egan quoted it as fact without disclosing it comes from a leftwing group. Not only that, but Egan said he talked to economists who disputed Trump’s assertions his mass deportation plan would not cause inflation.
Were those economists from the leftwing Center for American Progress, where Egan got his chart? He does not tell us all while CNN masks the source of that document.
CNN has had a bunch of people making this point. It is devoid of the context from the incoming border czar who, on Fox News, noted the administration would prioritize deportations of (1) those already ordered to leave, (2) violent offenders, and then (3) finding the children separated from their parents.
CNN has gone straight to fear scenarios based on “what if he drives out all the serfs!!!!” and ignored the actual statements of the border czar.
Will anyone at the network wonder why trust is at an all time low?
You can’t cover up the leftwing source of your supposed data and fail to mention where you got it. Start there.
If you’re relying on the Center for American Progress, that needs to be put in proper context — they’re a leftwing source that supports Biden’s open borders policy.
Can I even comment. If so, Eric, you are doing a great job these last two weeks after the election. Keep it up sir!
CNN apparently will never learn. Maybe CNN should change its name to the AOC network.
