BREAKING: The Georgia Grand Jury Dud
I’m in the studio today and news just broke about the findings of the special grand jury appointed to investigate Donald Trump's role in discrediting the 2020 election. In short, as a taxpayer, you should be furious you are forced to subsidize this nothingburger of an investigation. Here’s everything you need to know.
UPDATE: Despite press reports to the contrary, Georgia GOP Chair David Shafer’s lawyers reached out to say Shafer never spoke to the grand jury. Therefore, like Trump, Shafer could not be one of the implicated parties.
I understand there are no blockbuster conclusions from the Grand Jury probe but I don’t think that perjury is a small thing. After all, lies of all kinds is what brought this situation about. So those who participated in perjury on whatever level ought to be held accountable. Holding anybody accountable these days is something in my book. Perjury is a crime, not a nothing burger.
What we need loser pays. That would prevent stupid stuff like this.
