I hope you’re having a merry fourth day of Christmas. I have some thoughts on the news headlines we are in, but I want to save those for later.
Right now, I want to tell you all what’s going on behind the scenes because it is stressing me out a bit.
I got an office.
For the past sixteen years, I’ve worked primarily out of my house. But radio is starting to grow and with it comes more demands, and I want more separation from home. My home office would give a hoarder nightmares. So while I continue to have my office at WSB in Atlanta, I got an office here in Macon, GA. I have an office, a studio, a conference room, an actual reception space, even an office for Philip, and some additional space. Charlie, my producer, comes full-time with me on January 2nd.
It is both very surreal and nerve-racking. I’m taking a break (at 11:24pm no less on Tuesday night) to write this out. And it is a bit of a confession.
I’m big on trusting God, but I’m suddenly overwhelmed and stressed out with the idea that I’m liable for a monthly rental payment, had to buy office furniture and equipment, and pay the salaries of several people. It’s grown-up time, and I want to be a kid.
On top of that, we’ve got next year’s conference. Paid subscribers get a massive discount through the beginning of the year. I think the price is something like $150.00 and goes up to $250.00. Paid subscribers get a discount code to bring the cost down to $75. Will we sell enough? What about sponsors? We need sponsors — big sponsors. This is all very stressful. By the way, Tim Scott and Brian Kemp are 100% confirmed. Others will be announced shortly.
Again, I’m big on trusting God, but my motto is “why pray when I can worry.” I’m trying not to.
All of this is to say thank you. You all have made it possible. You all have gotten me to the point where radio is now growing, and I can get an office and have these big grown-up worries.
So thank you all. I hope you think you get value from your subscription. You’re not just supporting my work and a ministry, but you are providing me a way to avoid the cancel culture crowd that has continually tried to cancel me and can’t because your subscriptions allow me to proclaim hard truths and glorify God without worrying about the mob. In return, I try to provide you reliable, truthful information to keep you more informed than your friends.
Thanks again.
I could not have gotten to this point without all of you.

You got this. It’s a new day and a new opportunity. God has opened this door for you to walk through. Take your time and thanks for sharing so we can be a prayin for ya!
It's in this time of growth where we all become the most dependent. It's a choice who/what that is. I think you're off to a solid first step - confessing that you (individually) are powerless. You've been here before and you know what to do. We believe in you.
