🚨🚨🚨 Crisis Hits the Democrats

Special Counsel Robert Hur has released his report about Joe Biden and the classified documents. Hur’s conclusion has sent Democrats into crisis mode. He concludes Biden violated the law, but a jury would find him too senile to send to jail. No, seriously. In the words of the Special Counsel,

"We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during out interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory….Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness."

“A mental state of willfulness.”

The Special Counsel notes that Biden did not even remember when his son Beau Biden died. The Special Counsel found that Joe Biden is experiencing severe mental forgetfulness.

It is so bad that the President’s lawyers tried to convince the Special Counsel to modify his descriptions of the President’s memory. The President’s lawyer wrote, “We do not believe that the report's treatment of President Biden's memory is accurate or appropriate. The report uses highly prejudicial language to describe a commonplace occurrence among witnesses: a lack of recall of years-old events.”

Obama Administration progressive activists are melting down, calling the report “a right-wing hit job from within Biden's own DOJ.”

It is so bad that, as my friend Scott Jennings from CNN notes, it would have been better for Biden to be indicted. The standard is now that Trump is mentally competent to stand trial and Joe Biden is not.

The President of the United States is mentally unfit for his office and is mentally unfit to run for re-election. Democrats know this privately. Now, they have to deal with it publicly. This is, to use Joe Biden’s own words he probably never remembers having uttered, a “big f—ing deal.”

This report dramatically increases what had been a remote possibility — that Biden steps aside. But to do so would mean dealing with Kamala Harris, America's least popular national politician.

Pop some popcorn and enjoy the spectacle. Donald Trump can literally campaign as “a man so mentally competent that they want me to stand trial, unlike the other guy.”
