Distrusting The FBI
Federal agencies suffer from a crisis in confidence. The CDC wouldn’t let you go to your grandmother’s funeral or see loved ones in the hospital during COVID but now won’t tell the gay community to stop having orgies to prevent the spread of monkeypox because it might hurt their feelings. The FBI failed to secure valid warrants when the agency spied on Carter Page during its investigation during the Trump years. Now the FBI has raided the home of President Trump to collect documents that his team would have presumably handed over if asked and we are told it is in no way political. No one trusts our federal agencies and this is a significant problem. Take a moment and let me explain.
Good to talk with you today Erick. No one trusts the FBI because they haven't demonstrated they can be trusted. They turn a blind eye to Hillary Clinton and we are supposed to accept that Trump is somehow a threat when she wasn't. They spy on a political oponent under Obama for the Clinton campaign and we are supposed to accept January 6rh as an "existential crisis." They impeach Donald Trump for abuse of power with a single phone call that MIGHT imply something but elect the same man who admitted on a talk show doing the same thing. The try to impeach Trump with a dosier they know is fake and hold endless hearings to prevent a Supreme Court Justice from being empaneled when the very witnesses who were said to be able to corroborate the story say it never happened. The rule of law means nothing to the Left. Nothing. Their propaganda mouthpieces have absolutely no intellectual curiosity about Hunter Biden or the factual lie on a 4473 federal gun application form but four years of investigations into Trump children is warranted because they MIGHT have influence over their father.
If the GOP doesn't do everything Kevin McCarthy threatened to do and more after November they are through as an effective political party forever. They better realize that. They better start getting their ducks in a row. Hold Hillary accountable. Charge Hunter Biden with lying on federal forms. Raid Joe Biden's personal records to learn what he knew and when he knew it about Hunter's business dealings. Let's see a pre-dawn raid on Nancy Pelosi's house with her husband paraded out in handcuffs on Fox News who just "happened to be in the area" when the raid happens. Do these things Republicans or you really are just Democrat Light and can forget my support for the rest of my days. Hope I wasn't unclear.
Erick you make some good points. I would suggest starting with the DOD. Start with the Joint chiefs, and the commands. Clean house and re-instate the mission of preparing for war. No one wants war but you must present strenght to keep the peace. After the DOD you can try to fix the CDC or FBI. Not sure either can be fixed. IRS is a lost cause. Only a total change in taxation will fix the IRS.
