Emerald Robinson is the Albert Einstein of political analysts and reporters, if Albert Einstein had been an insane mentally disabled mute with one eye and a lobotomy. Donald Trump is citing her as proof Georgia’s election was stolen. Brian Kemp, you see, got over 74% of the vote.
According to Emerald Robinson, this is de facto proof that the election was stolen because in her words:
On Primary Day in Georgia, Kemp gets 74% and Perdue gets 22%. Nobody in any election in America gets 74% of the votes. Ever. It doesn’t happen.
Obvious fraud.
Now, I won’t link to her actual substack because while I don’t think brain damage is a communicable disease, I don’t want to take any chances with my readers, who I love.
Donald Trump has pushed out Robinson’s piece. This means, of course, that Trump is admitting to having stolen elections.
In 2016, Donald Trump won 77% of the vote in the West Virginia Republican Primary. He won 75% of the Washington Republican Primary. He won 74% of the California Republican Primary. He won 80% of the New Jersey Republican Primary.
Based on Emerald Robinson’s logic, echoed by Donald Trump, this is obvious fraud.
Or, it could be that he legitimately won and Brian Kemp legitimately won, but Donald Trump is surrounded by dumbasses who put other dumbasses in front of him to pay attention to. That would explain his 2020 defeat and aftermath.
Frankly, “my race was stolen from me” is becoming for Republicans what “my pronouns are…” for the left — a mental illness. Regardless of your views on 2016, when you have idiots like Kandiss Taylor in Georgia refusing to concede because she thinks the election was stolen, you’re dealing with the same mental illness the transgender community is trying to normalize. It just presents in a different way.
Taylor is like a flame for crazy. She captured 100% of the insane, crazy GOP vote. We now know that amounts to 3.4% of the Republican primary vote. She’s the lady who said she would kill any sheriff who refused to honor the will of the people because the constitution says that is treason and sets the penalty as death by firing squad. That section is right there next to the section that clearly spells out an abortion right.
We need to stop entertaining crazy. And if President Trump happens to read this, sir, your candidates legitimately lost Georgia and if you want to win Georgia, stop listening to hucksters, grifters, frauds, and crazy people making money off you at your expense.
Also, we need to stop relitigating the past and move on. That’s what Georgia voters voted to do. If Trump voters are insistent the election was stolen, it is really wild that Herschel Walker won and even wilder that the pattern of stolen elections is such that only Trump’s candidates are dumb enough to have an election stolen from them.
If the election had been stolen, Trump is building a second argument against a 2024 bid. First, he could only serve 4 years when literally any other Republican who ran has the potential for 8 game-changing years. Second, it’s just going to be stolen from him because his team is too stupid to stop even other Republicans from stealing elections from his team.
Maybe just take the loss and stop making stupid excuses that make your own team look profoundly weak.
Now, back to vacation. Here’s a picture I took last night of the Milky Way rising over the Atlantic from Hilton Head Island
What a fantastic photo! And Trump needs to find another hobby.
There is something desperate in all this cheat and steal obsession. Trump is proving to be as unpredictable and self destructive as ever and I pray that sanity will spread like a blanket over the GOP so we can get behind a strong candidate for President.
And as for Katnip Kandiss, I wonder if she and Marjorie Taylor Greene are competing for Most Stupid Southern Woman Alive. They must be related.
