UPDATE: Right before I hit send on this email, Donald Trump picked Ohio Senator JD Vance to be his running mate. Vance worked in venture capital at Peter Thiel's firm, before rising to fame by authoring the book Hillbilly Elegy in 2016. Stay tuned and I’ll have my full take for you in the morning.
The threat to democracy that Democrats and mainstream media outlets have warned us about for years actually happened on Saturday. No, it wasn’t Donald Trump refusing to leave office, suspending elections, or jailing journalists he disliked. This attack on democracy was a bullet aimed at the democratically nominated leader of the Republican Party.
In the clip below, I play a two-minute montage of mainstream media outlets making hyperbolic claims about Trump that would inevitably lead someone to take them literally. James Hodgkinson nearly assassinated a field full of Republican Congressmen and Floyd Lee Corkins attempted to assassinate the entirety of the Family Research Center and stuff their mouths with Chick-fil-A sandwiches. Both men were inspired by what they watched on MSNBC.
The media refuses to hold the left accountable for its violent rhetoric but lectured Trump on what he said 30 seconds after being shot. They can talk all they want about toning down the rhetoric but the bullets are only flying from left to right. Watch:
I just wanted to share this as maybe a story of hope and happiness in a time of great sadness.
In April 2024 I was diagnosed with stage 3 stomach cancer. Today on July 15th I had a follow up scan and the tumor has vanished.
I was put on a new therapy immunotherapy called Opdiva. And this is making headlines as a miracle drug.
Went from stage 3 with doctors really worried about this to basically full remission in 3 months. It’s unheard of.
Sharing because there was about 1000 things that had to happen for me to get to this point.
-To get this amazing drug I had to have been diagnosed since Feb 2024 because it was only available off trial from then.
- had to have lived in Georgia specifically Atlanta metro since win ship is one of the few centers offering this.
- had to have been a certain stage and caught it before it spread.
Had anyone of those things not happened. I wouldn’t be in this state of shock I am in and the amount of blessings I just received.
Same with trump. About 10000 things had to have gone right for the bullet to miss.
Coincidence?
You can’t live your life believing that everything is doom and gloom. I’ve learned that how. God has a plan and he is on the move. He will use this incident for good.
Was I mad when I was diagnosed. Heck yes. I was angry upset despair. In a bad place. But now look. God had this all along.

Vance is a great choice. He is very intelligent and should have a moderating effect on Trump (if that is even possible).
