Get Ready for "The Hispanics Are Racist Now"

The other day, Axios did a story on the growing number of white nationalists who are of Hispanic descent. Of course they focused on Nick Fuentes who is an anti-Semitic Hitler apologist. He is the one who introduced Marjorie Taylor Greene at his white nationalist event with a pro-Putin chant. He is toxic and anyone who associates with him should be avoided included Joe Kent out in Washington.

But mostly, what Axios is doing is “nut-picking” a bunch of people you and I have never heard of to build the case that there is a white nationalist trend among Hispanics.

Why?

I do not think it is a coincidence that the racism angle is surfacing after these headlines started gaining steam over the past few months:

• Latino Dems warn about midterm fall-off

• Democrats fall flat with ‘Latinx’ language

• The GOP is gaining among Texas Hispanics. Women are leading the charge

• Texas results hint GOP Hispanic gains may endure post-Trump

In particular, note the use of “Hispanic” in the titles and not “Latino,” which tends to be the default in the press. Suddenly, however, it is racist Hispanics.
