Right now, as you are reading this, someone has been up all night worried about how they will put gas in their car to get to work. Someone else is worried about feeding their kids. A senior citizen is struggling to pay their power bill and put food on their table.

I reached out to the Salvation Army a few weeks ago to see if there was a way you and I could help. We’re going to try to raise $25,000.00. Every penny is going to go to individuals and families with gift cards from the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army is one of the most efficient charities in the United States. Virtually every penny goes to those in need, not to their overhead. That is why I constantly recommend them.

Please consider setting aside your politics, your partisanship, and your grievances today and step up to help someone struggling with their basic needs. This is not about Washington or Joe Biden or Campaign 2022.

Today, right now, there’s an empty stomach that will stay empty without our help. There’s a mom or dad who can’t get to work because they lack the money just for gas today.

The impact of rising costs often most affects those in our society who can least afford it.
