How The Mainstream Media Can Save Itself

If you solely watched CNN’s news coverage over the past year, you would assume that abortion would be the dominant issue for women which would spur a significant gender gap. As it turns out, abortion ranked outside of the top five issues and a majority of married women broke for Donald Trump.

Excluding blatantly partisan sources like MSNBC, if you solely relied upon mainstream news sources for the impact of stories like Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio or how many Americans support boys participating in girl’s sports, you would assume that someone with traditional values like yourself was in the vast minority.

Except you’re not. CNN and other outlets hired coastal elites as their resident experts who widely and consistently shared views that were drastically outside of the Overton Window of the average American viewer. Despite trying to be an outlet for all viewers, they incredulously missed the monolithic partisan bent of the vast majority of their contributors. It should be no surprise that CNN and others are preparing for painful layoffs to make the companies profitable. The media is out of touch with the average American but this is how they can save themselves. Watch:
