I’m not going to attack Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for a tag team interview with CNN’s Dana Bash.
The reality is the whole campaign is four weeks old and Kamala Harris is steadily repudiating every position she held four years ago. Walz needs to be in the room to find out what positions they support this week that they opposed last week. It’s on the job learning for both of them.
Four years ago, just on CNN, Kamala Harris took the following positions:
Supported a total ban on fracking.
Supported a mandatory transition to electric vehicles.
Supported an end to fossil fuels.
Supported government coersion to reduce red meat consumption.
Supported a federal ban on the plastic straw.
Supported ending private health insurance.
Supported a “conversation” on letting the currently incarcerated vote.
Supported taxpayer funded healthcare for illegal aliens.
Opposed a border wall.
She took all those positions just on CNN just four years ago.
So which of those does she no longer support and why? Despite Jonathan Karl of ABC assuring us Harris has changed her positions, we have not actually heard Kamala Harris repudiate a single position from her presidential campaign four years ago.
Anonymous staffers pushing out talking points to reporters on Twitter is not Kamala Harris changing her mind. That is a staff member doing damage control. Every journalist reading this knows until the candidate herself publicly repudiates the position, the candidate maintains that position.
So as of right now, Kamala Harris still supports EV mandates and opposes fracking. Her staff says she has changed her mind on those issues. Why? And that why probably will raise a follow up — should the Green New Deal be altered?
Harris, in a very calculated acceptance speech last Thursday night, sought to avoid all potential divisions within the Democratic Party. It is not news that Harris disagrees with Trump. It is news if Harris disagrees with the leftwing of her party or the moderate wing.
Harris is also now out with an ad claiming she’ll make buying a home affordable. But buying homes were affordable before she and Joe Biden took office. Despite some in the media trying to claim Trump and Vance “seek to tie” Harris to Biden, Biden and Harris have already done that with this hyphen:
So one question that is obvious and needs an answer is how can Kamala Harris claim her day one will be January 20, 2025, when the White House website claims she’s already there. And if she’s putting distance between herself and Joe Biden, who she’ll be campaigning with this week, what is that distance?
What part of the “Biden-Harris Administration” does that Harris disagree with?
Americans deserve answers and I trust Dana Bash will seek to provide us those answers.
I agree with the point. Until she actually says it. It is assumed she does not support nor believe it.
Until I hear her say “I’m for the border wall..” there’s no indication that she is.
Heck, even if she does say it you can’t believe it because she is most likely playing Joe manchin games of sway right to get elected then swing back left afterwards.
I love that comparison as well. Homes were affordable before. It’s like their slogan. “We won’t go back..” or never go back. Hate to break it to the Biden Harris regime but most people would like to go back to lower prices and more money in their bank account.
This should be a very informative interview.🤣🤣🤣
I will cast my ballot for Trump but I am voting against Harris. The Democrats and the leftist media need to know that we will not stand for the destruction of this country.
