The Republican Donor Class Is Now Talking 2024

Few of them see the race truly being shaped by Trump.

In August, we’ll be meeting in Atlanta for the first Gathering since 2019. I’m looking forward to having with us some of the strong leaders of the modern conservative movement. We hope to get Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, Glenn Youngkin, Kristi Noem, Tim Scott, and more to join us. That reminds me, I have to work on invite follow ups.

But there is a problem in the mix in the run-up to 2024. As I mentioned on the radio the other day, I have been summoned to a meeting of top GOP donors to discuss the problem. It all comes down to one issue that puts in perspective the entirety of where the GOP is headed.

No, it actually does not have to do with Donald Trump. It has to do with something else entirely.
