Have you noticed how California, which is having systematic, controlled blackouts due to the heatwave does not have the media up in arms and condemnatory in the way Texas’s power outages caused media outrage? Texas’s was an anomaly and the media used it to condemn Texas, its independent power grid, how it plans for power, etc. California’s is a regular occurrence due to misfeasance, malfeasance, and nonfeasance and the media just shrugs.
Have you noticed the media has moved on from the Gene Sillers killing now that we know Bryan Rhoden is black and was not shot by the police, but arrested and released repeatedly over a series of years? This is the murder of the golf pro in Atlanta. It was national news and the media reported the suspect was a tall Hispanic male. Turns out to be a young black man with a history of drug crimes, assaults of police, etc.
Have you noticed the media’s near hagiographic coverage of the Texas Democrats fleeing the State of Texas thereby causing the democratically elected state legislature to shut down and not function? Imagine how the media would react if the GOP did that? Not only that, but the media coverage of the Texas election law is way over the top, much like the coverage of Georgia’s law was so contradictory to the actual law.
In fact, have you noticed the national press has not mentioned that Georgia now that it turns out much of the coverage was wrong? The media never corrected the record. Several nonpartisan voting rights groups now say Georgia’s law will actually make it easier to vote. The media is silent.
Have you noticed how the media just avoids correcting the record or doing so very quickly and moving on whenever the facts don’t match the prevailing narrative? Because that’s exactly what keeps happening.
Facts are facts until they challenge the narrative. Then facts become annoyances to ignore, like the mosquito that keeps droning in your ear. Both need to be smacked into oblivion.
Been noticing this stuff for about four years now - used to turn on the "Today Show" and watch how the first 10 minutes was nothing but Trump Bashing. Coverage today ignored the case of Miller Lite. What I don't understand is why they didn't at least have Shiner Bock - the left has no shame.
