Kanye Cancels Himself

It is not my place to tell others not to listen to Kanye West’s music. I don’t support cancel culture, which often sees people canceled because they’ve offended the left for things that are reasonable to people on the right. Defending Nazis and praising Hitler is not reasonable. I have, in the past, played Kanye West’s music on my show, particularly some of his sectarian music at Christmas and Easter. I won’t any longer. Again, it is not my place to tell anyone else to stop listening to Kanye, but the man is going through a profound, public mental health breakdown and is currently surrounded by enablers. He needs help and perhaps the only way to push him to get the help he so clearly needs is to stop playing the music that funds his lifestyle.
