Lessons From Michigan's DEI Failure
“The University of Michigan doubled down on DEI. What went wrong? A decade and a quarter of a billion dollars later, students and faculty are more frustrated than ever.”
Those aren't my words, that’s a headline from The New York Times. The piece from earlier this week chronicled the extensive and invasive measures that Michigan took to indoctrinate all of its students on the benefits of DEI for more than a decade. The Times reporter interviewed numerous Michigan students from across the political spectrum who all deemed it “a well-meaning failure.”
Of course it failed, but the DEI debacle at Michigan is not alone. The DEI-obsessed left remains the unhappiest group of people in the US while church-going and Bible-believing Christians consistently report the highest levels of happiness. Here’s the simple reason why:
DEI is fascism dressed up in a cheap suit.
CRT is calling everything "racist" until you control it.
Political Correctness is tyranny with manners.
And, lastly.... Diversity just for the sake of diversity is a downward spiral to mediocrity.
If DEI is so great. So great that the DNC mentioned it 0 times at its convention.
