One More Note
Laura Loomer has won a primary in Florida to be the Republican nominee for Congress in the 21st congressional district. The district barely went for John McCain in 2008 and has trended Democrat ever since with Obama getting over 60% of the vote and Hillary Clinton getting 59% of the vote.
The district flipped in the House in 2012 to the Democrats and is currently held by the former Mayor of Palm Beach, Lois Frankel, who ran unopposed in the last election.
The GOP has thrown away this district and appalling chosen to use a shrill harpy conspiracy theorist to sabotage their credibility. The GOP voters of Palm Beach should be lined up and marched into the Atlantic like the stupid lemmings they apparently are.
Laura Loomer will consume resources better spent elsewhere on viable races and will be an embarrassment to the GOP until election day. The amount of absurd unforced errors by Republican voters this year just suggests something is fundamentally broken within the brains of many of its voters.
Or, in fairness to those voters, I have to wonder how bad the other candidates were that none of them could fairly engage with sanity to connect with the voters. Loomer, banned from Twitter, famously chained herself to their building as a protest stunt. She’s suggested all sorts of conspiracies related to various mass shootings.
I am vehemently conservative and want small government, pro-life conservatives to win across this country. The GOP, instead, continues to pick a veritable clown car of bat crap crazy candidates who the media will willfully give exposure to in order to define the GOP, putting it in the worst possible light with QAnon conspiracists, etc.
I am disgusted and you should be too.
The GOP, in parts of the country at this point, is a party with no conviction or principle and simply wants to be entertained by people who in former times would have found their occupations inside the freak show tents at roadside carnivals.
Now get off my lawn.
