Maybe if the press and candidates wore shock collars and depending on how big of a lie that they told that would gauge how big of a jolt that they would get. How entertaining would that be? Just a thought. Apparently the left has never heard “ the truth will set you free”.

All exactly why media companies and anchors need to be able to criminally persecuted for outright and intentionally lying. I want the government gutted, but there HAS TO BE some kind of consequence for the level of lying and slander that has infected the entire media apparatus. I'm aware individuals could possibly sue a network, but most of us don't have the 10s of thousands or maybe even 100s of thousands it would cost to fight a business with millions at their disposal. There needs to be something... not the fairness act, not just fines, just something that they can be held legally accountable like how they are held accountable for tax fraud.
