Progressive's New Favorite Word: Polycrisis
Progressives are trotting out the word “polycrisis” to explain the “unprecedented convergences between ecological, political, and economic strife.” Instead of trusting in the free market to create incentives that will solve climate challenges, the left is claiming it’s a “polycrisis” that is simply too complex for the free market to solve. They claim the rise of Donald Trump is a “polycrisis” that poses a threat too dynamic for democracy to handle.
Instead of taking the time to objectively analyze the various components of a crisis or phenomenon, progressives are content to throw up their hands and claim it’s a “polycrisis” when, in reality, it’s a power grab. Watch:
The Dems make up words to fit their agenda. Instead of terrorist attack, its a 'man-caused disaster.'
They had to come up with cisgender to normalize transgender.
This 'polycrisis' stuff reminds me of the Carter days when they said the 'Presidency is too big for one man.' Ronald Reagan proved them wrong.

I think Erick gives the Dems/Progressives/Left too much credit for thinking. Maybe some are that Machiavellian, but I think it is just their reflexive attitude.
Victor David Hanson had a great podcast this morning about the LA fires. He explained that the Left has created such a complex system and then populated it with incompetent bureaucrats (primarily due to DEI) that its failure was inevitable. That's why they think this is too complex of a problem - a polycrisis.
This is a problem of their own making with innumerable regulations at cross purposes with an unmanageable self-imposed governmental system run by incompetents at the top only at their levels due to sexual orientation, skin color or the politically correct genitalia. They cannot fathom that this problem is of their own ideas/philosophy, so they say it's too complex. Otherwise, they would have to do a real self-examination which they are incapable of. They are simply blind.
