The Supreme Court is hearing one of the most significant cases in recent decades regarding abortion. If you want my hottest of hot takes on the subject, I am vehemently opposed to cameras or live feeds in the courtrooms or congressional hearings. Every single time it leads to performance theater by those in front of the camera. We saw this today from Sonia Sotomayor who essentially regurgitated Planned Parenthood talking points.
One of the biggest things you need to understand is this is not a case where the lawyers are trying to persuade the justices to rule in their favor. If you listen to the live audio, the justices are using the lawyers to persuade the other justices. Take a moment to watch the video and let me explain.

Bottom line, abortion is always going to be with us...and if the Democrats had stayed with "safe, legal and RARE", especially the "rare" part, we wouldn't even be having conversations about it.
But, noooo...they had to insist on regarding it as an alternative method of birth control that taxpayers should fund, calling it "health care" and insisting that a baby wasn't really a baby until it was born, and maybe not even then if the mother decided she didn't want it...they ignored the science of conception, they ignored the increasing proof that the "fetus" feels pain, they had women crowing online about how great it was that they hadn't been "burdened" with a child, "shouting their abortion" and now, here we are.
Actions have equal and opposite reactions. Always.
