Russian Repression
The top Russian NHL players are taking heat for not standing against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The point that critics miss is all of these players have families back in Russia. A similar situation is happening with the Russian Orthodox Churches in New York City and the World Wildlife Fund. Speaking out against Putin may not end well for anyone whose family is back in Russia.
More importantly, this should be a reminder of just how amazing the United States really is. While Russian nationals mince their words for fear of reprisal, you and I are free to speak as critically as we’d like of our leaders. Take a listen:

I think people are going to tire of this conflict very shortly. All the cable channels treat it like a macabre mini-series while the good people of our country take it in the neck. We were late with sanctions and whether we like it or not, China will backstop Russia. The single most important things America can do right now is throw all these lunatics out in November. Until then, buckle up!
