Zelenskyy Addresses Congress
The President of Ukraine virtually addressed the United States Congress with a powerful speech requesting more support from the United States. Zelenskyy used a moving pre-produced video that captured the devastation Ukraine has suffered at the hands of the Russian military. The Ukrainian President asked Americans to remember the attacks on Pearl Harbor and 9/11. See the full speech here.
The ask: Zelenskyy requested additional sanctions on Russia, a no-fly zone, planes, and enhanced defense systems.
Update: Ukraine Fights Back
After Russia targeted civilian areas throughout the country with missile attacks on Tuesday, Ukraine launched a counterattack. The Ukrainian military launched an airstrike on the Russian-controlled Kherson airport and shot down two Russian jets over the Black Sea. More on Ukraine:
