The media has shifted quickly to cover Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan and away from Al Qaeda’s number two being blown up in Kabul. To focus on Zawahiri would raise a question — how is it that Al Qaeda’s terror mastermind has a residence in Kabul? That would be because Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal put the Taliban back in charge. In August of 2021, Biden said Al Qaeda had been exterminated in Afghanistan. But thanks to the Taliban, they’re back setting up shop. To focus on killing Zawahiri would be to highlight Joe Biden’s failure. Consequently, the media has rapidly shifted to Pelosi in Taiwan.
