Ok. We’ve been bombarded by conservative pundits bitching about the debt and recently the BBB. I understand that the nation is quickly slipping into the debt abyss. That said, I have one question that nobody is specifically addressing. Where should the necessary cuts be? Followed by, who in the general population is going to take a hit and for how long? Let’s say we take down Social Security. Or perhaps Medicare and/or Medicaid. Whoever takes that plunge, get ready to be taken out of office. Followed by the Dem’s taking control back and all the cuts get reversed. Answers! We need answers. Not the continuous browbeating we get about how screwed we are. Somebody with authority needs to step up!
My thoughts on your question: spread the pain around. Up the SS retirement age; cut the redundant Medicaid cushions and make skin in the game requirements for the handouts; cut unnecessary Medicare expenditures.
I generally agree. We need to decide precisely what our top spending priority is (one above all others), we decide what to do with it and we cut everything else across the board. And none of this base line spending BS our Congressional leaders have been feeding us.
Europe indirect Tariffs - several countries give TAX CREDITS for cars made in Europe.
AND they charege big tariffs on non Europe items.
