More thought went into this:
The month of June is recognized as (LGBTI) Pride Month. The United States respects the dignity & equality of LGBTI people & celebrates their contributions to the society. We remain committed to supporting civil rights of minorities, including LGBTI persons. #Pride2021 #PrideMonth
than went into this:
People are literally sitting on the outside of c-17 plane as it taxiing to take off from #Kabul - later reports two or three people who clung to the wheels fell off mid flight, plunging to their deaths
which resulted in this:
People are reportedly falling from the US military transport plane near #Kabul airport. They were hanging on the plane tires.
The United States could have extracted personnel before extracting soldiers. We could have helped the Afghanis who helped us escape their coming murderers. We could have waited until winter, which would have naturally slowed the Taliban’s advance.
Instead of putting plans in place, the United States was virtue-signaling its support of Pride Month in Kabul and now countless men and women, including alleged or accused to be gay Afghanis will be left behind and beheaded.
What a disgrace. But at least they got some hashtags for pride month.
horrific and sad
One of the most telling comments was "We didn't expect Afganistan to fall that fast". So they expected it to fall, just not while on their vacations.
