I thank God often and I mean that Often I thank Him that I was born and raised and live in this country, the greatest Country on earth. God blesses my husband and I each day. Two weeks ago we were living a very uninterrupted life, moving along my husband will be 80 in October and I am 79. We aren't rich, actually we live on social security and no retirement. We are good, we knew this and saved for this, we live debt free and have for many years we are continuously amazed at God's blessings on us. Got a phone call two weeks ago from hospital telling us that they were reviewing some cat scans of my husband's lungs (he had a CT scan on neck due to something else) and they found a spot. That started a series of seeing specialist and having test which the hospital and doctors handled for us. They walked us through each step, it was amazing the care we received. He was diagnosed with "lung cancer" which is a very scary phase. You can hardly think (many of you know this as well as you Erick) beyond those words. Yesterday at the end of two doctor appointments we were told all is well, yes he has lung cancer but it was found very early and it is slow growing, he will have small surgery to have it removed and they will watch him closely over the remaining years. We are blessed I too am a cancer survivor and he had kidney removed years ago due to cancer. I am so thankful that we are close to Father God and learning more and more of His amazing love daily, we refuse to give into the hate of this world as there is more people that do not hate than there is that do hate. Enjoy life and be kind one to another and have a great 4th of July again we live in the greatest country in the world.

If you don’t believe that this is a great country; consider the testimony of all those Europeans visiting here to attend The World Cup soccer games.
