He got on stage at a late midterm rally and railed against Ron DeSantis. He blasted DeSantis’s handling of COVID. He claimed DeSantis was part of the Republican establishment. “Ron DeSanctimonious,” he called him.
This reminds me of last year when he went after Kemp in Georgia.
He said, “Stacey, would you like to take [Kemp’s] place? It's OK with me… might be better than having your existing governor, if you want to know what I think. Might very well be better.”
I’m not talking about Joe Biden. I’m talking about the octagenarian: Donald J. Trump, former president of the United States.
If Trump were to win in 2024, he’s be constitutionally restricted to one term. He’d also turn eighty years old in the 2026 midterms, just as Biden is turning eighty in this year’s midterms.
Can we stop doing this?
Can we stop electing 80-year-olds? Can’t we the people find someone who is not a self-absorbed baby boomer?
This is ridiculous and Republicans should note that their party leader is on the campaign trail attacking a popular Republican governor for the audacity of not being subservient to him and kissing his ring.
It’s shameful and he needs to go away.
Sadly, Trump's narcissism is superseding common sense. We do not need this--esp. 3 days out of the mid-terms. DeSantis will win easily (by min 13%). This is Trump's redundant strategy of tagging his rivals with derogatory nicknames (remember Lyin' Ted, Little Marco, etc?). Classless.
Fully agree. I’m so angry with that guy I could scream. He’s terrible. Absolutely terrible. And for a guy who speaks so much about loyalty, he’s the most disloyal guy out there. He needs to be roundly rebuked.
