I say list the pedos names, throw them in jail, so we can once again have some trust in our government. So what if market crashes for awhile. It's at all time highs now mainly due to inflation, not because the economy is strong. Maybe I'll purchase some stocks at the bottom if this happens, but I'm not holding my breath. It seems that Trump either got some very bad advice from someone in his orbit about Pam Bondi after how Matt Gaetz dealt with his personal feud with then US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy by burning down one too many political bridges on his way out of Washington DC, or Trump is allowing "loyalty "to blind him to the fact a number of his Cabinet picks are helping to sow / derail a number of accomplishments intended to help, not hurt Republicans in November. Unfortunately, Bondi has shown she has become a political lability for Trump, shadowing over accomplishments what Trump is doing. Bondi is like Sec Noem, a lightning rod. I do how you can defend someone is making a mockery of DOJ and her recent congressional appearance makes Bondi not suited to be US Attorney General. Bondi has so many missteps, wishes that anyone else was the US Attorney General right now, but Trump is blinded by his sense of loyalty to ask her to step down and replace her.

Anthony Scaramucci has really helped enlighten me. Trump thinks about this as a reality show; and he is the producer, casting agent, director, and the star. Trump 1.0 ended with his losing the election and his co-stars refusing to do his bidding (see Pence and Barr) at his hour of highest need. It was a failure of poor casting on his part. Trump 2.0 was purposefully cast with co-stars who were loyal to the star above else, and their merits for their role we secondary to looks and willingness to protect the star.
With this lens, everything makes sense. Barr would not file charges; time to recast the roll. Sec of Defense says you can't do that, recast the role.
Bondi should be fired after how terribly she bungled all the appointments earlier. But as long as the director/star is happy the way it plays out on his TV screen, she will remain in the job. Regardless of their ability and the consequences to the country.

My recollection of the election cases is they were denied standing or denied discovery. I do not remember any cases that were actually tried.
