The Shattering Of Norms
If you turn on CNN or MSNBC, you won’t be able to go an entire show without some panelists accusing Donald Trump of shattering long-standing norms that threaten the fabric of democracy. But the same progressive panelists will go into existential overdrive to defend the norms that Democrats are breaking.
When Joe Biden offered Hunter one of the most sprawling, unprecedented pardons in modern presidential history, Democrats immediately pointed to the fact that George H. W. Bush pardoned his son and that Jimmy Carter pardoned his brother - two things that never happened. The arbiters of misinformation lied.
What you need to understand is that when Democrats and members of the mainstream media talk about norms, they are talking about the things they put in place so that when the Democrats are not in power, they can still exercise power. Let me explain:

This is very good, Erick. May Trump and his allies find ways to undercut the legacy media, which only ever denounce Republicans for shattering norms. The democrats only care about a 'democracy' they control.
Democrats spout lies over and over but rarely get called on it and rarely retract anything. Their audience see it or hear it and assume it’s fact.
