Welcome! A U.S. House race in West Virginia and a gubernatorial race in Nebraska are today’s primary races to watch.
From Politico: Biden told a crowd of about 125 that he thinks Democrats could flip at least four Senate seats in November. 🤨 Polling shows otherwise.

Clip of the day: Why is the Treasury Secretary commenting on abortion?
Democrats Abort Their Midterm Chances
NBC News has a damning piece out this morning on how the Democrats are dividing their party with a show-vote on abortion. The piece titled ‘Democrats' all but doomed Senate abortion vote threatens to divide the party’ has this brutal analysis:
Senate Democrats are once again headed for a show vote — this time on abortion — that risks dividing their party, depressing their base, and looks all but certain to be defeated.
…
Of course, Democrats don’t have good options here after the leaked draft opinion raised the likelihood of a decision that axes Roe vs. Wade. And they don’t want to let the decision come this summer without taking some action.
But this comes after other show votes Democrats have taken — on the minimum wage and voting rights — that have divided their party, depressed their base and failed in the 50-50 Senate.

Biden’s Inflation Plan
Joe Biden is set to discuss how his administration is combating record-setting inflation. There’s just one problem - I read the memo and Biden’s plan only makes inflation worse. Go read the full story here. The move comes in response to Senator Rick Scott’s plan to force everyone to pay some level of income tax.
The Unbiased Press Secretary
The brand new White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre once describe Fox News as a racist network in a recently released clip with MSNBC. Jean-Pierre tweeted the clip and said “Fox News was racist before #coronavirus, they are racist during coronavirus, and Fox News will be racist after the coronavirus” Ouch.
Tom Brady Joins Fox Sports
While Tom Brady’s secret plan to buy the Miami Dolphins fell apart, Brady has secured a post-football gig with Fox Sports after he retires from the NFL. The news comes as Joe Buck and Troy Aikman left the network for ESPN. Brady, 44, will play for the Tamba Bay Buccaneers for at least one more year. Fun fact: nfl.com describes Brady as “comically underpaid on his current deal with Tampa Bay by seemingly any metric.”
