Trump
A New York judge ruled that Donald Trump committed fraud for years by falsely inflating property values in order to secure better terms for bank loans and insurance quotes. If not successfully appealed, the ruling will essentially revoke Trump’s ability to do business in the state of New York.
Details: The ruling is a devastating blow that complicates Trump's multifaceted legal challenges with a formal trial expected as early as next week. The lawsuit was brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James who claimed Trump overinflated his network by $2.2 billion and is seeking a $250 million fine.
