Biden’s White Supremacy Obsession
On the same day an Afghan terrorist was caught crossing the southern border, Joe Biden told graduates of Howard University that white supremacy is the greatest threat facing this nation. It should be no surprise that Biden is aiming to stoke racial tensions as recent polling shows black voters ditching Biden in massive droves. The ABC poll we covered last week notes black voters back Biden by only 35% over Trump after Biden won the black vote by 75% in 2020.

Daniel Penny
The heroic Marine who protected subway passengers from a deranged homeless man was arrested and charged with second-degree manslaughter. Daniel Penny was riding a Manhattan subway when Jordan Neely started physically harassing passengers saying he “wanted to go to jail.” Penny subdued Neely with a chokehold that unfortunately cost Neely his life.
Why this matters: Jordan Neely had 42 prior arrests and a long history of physically threatening subway passengers. New York City is quite literally punishing someone for doing the job they refused to do.
As of Sunday, more than 37,000 people have donated $1.7 million to Neely’s defense fund.
Trump Spending
Dan McLaughlin at National Review (paywall) has a great piece chronicling the spending fundraising and spending habits of Ron DeSantis vs Donald Trump. While DeSantis has raised $4.3 million since March for state and local GOP organizations, Donald Trump is doing the opposite.
After spending more money than anyone to defeat Georgia Governor Brian Kemp in a comically unsuccessful attempt, Trump is spending huge sums of small-dollar donors on his myriad of legal issues while dropping $6 million on an attack ad against Ron DeSantis in Florida. Here’s a key paragraph:
Trump also refused to spend money on the supposedly crucial election audit in Arizona, but spent lavishly from small-dollar donor money on his own legal fees — $16 million from his PAC in 2021 and 2022, with the bulk of that relating to his own ongoing legal troubles rather than election contests. Two million dollars alone went to defending the E. Jean Carroll sexual-assault trial, and $3 million for the Mar-a-Lago documents case. Worse, Trump has been bleeding the party itself to bail out his legal problems. In October and November 2022 alone, the Republican National Committee spent $720,000 in donor money to pay Trump’s personal legal bills. The RNC has reportedly pledged to spend twice that on Trump’s personal lawyers.
Endorsed: Ron DeSantis locked in major endorsements over the weekend that are being largely ignored by the mainstream media. While stories abound over the nine senators and 48 house reps backing Trump, little was made over significant DeSantis endorsements from the early swing states of Iowa and New Hampshire.
