Biden’s Border Reversal

After repeatedly saying the border is secure and claiming that walls are racist, the White House announced an "acute and immediate need" to wave dozens of laws and construct a border wall in south Texas.

Details: After a record-breaking 260,000 encounters with illegal immigrants in September, political pressure from the right and left has forced the administration to act. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is waving 26 federal laws that were previously championed by the Biden administration to construct a border wall in the Rio Grande Valley Sector.

Sound familiar? Just last month, Biden sued Texas for constructing a barrier roughly in the same location along the Rio Grande River that prevented illegal passage. A judge sided with the White House and the barrier was removed opening the river to more illegal immigration.

Democrats: Biden’s border reversal comes on the heels of a growing number of Democrats demanding action be taken at the border. New York Governor Kathy Hochul said last week, "Well, we want them to have a limit on who can come across the border. It is too open right now. People coming from all over the world are finding their way through simply saying they need asylum.”

Polling: Biden’s marks on managing the border have never been lower according to a host of new polls. A Marquette Poll released today gave Trump a 24-point advantage over Biden on the issue in a hypothetical head-to-head match-up.

Remember: Let us not forget that Biden claimed in 2021 that there will, "not be another foot of wall constructed on my administration." The migrant crisis at the border was months in the making when earlier this year, Biden allowed Title 42 - a pandemic-era public health order issued by the CDC during the early days of COVID - to expire which significantly increased migrant encourters at the border.

Sage Steele

Former ESPN reporter Sage Steele went on Bill Maher’s podcast and recounted an interview she did with Joe Biden on ESPN where he sounded confused and wasn’t able to finish his sentences. Watch the clip here.

"I interviewed Biden. Honestly, I don't like him. I think he's a terrible president. However, forget that. The human aspect of what we're witnessing right now with him, to me, is heartbreaking. And it's inexcusable by the family when you knew during the election."
