Ticking Debt Bomb
Kevin McCarthy outlined a plan at the New York Stock Exchange for a one-year debt limit increase that is predicated on rolling back domestic spending to 2022 levels. It is unclear whether McCarthy has the political capital in the Republican-controlled House to pass a bill that raises the debt ceiling and cuts spending with a paltry four-vote margin.
Reaction: A White House press secretary responded by claiming McCarthy is aiming to pass an “extreme MAGA wish list” but later a senior official leaked to CNN that the White House would be open to resuming negotiations if McCarthy can get this passed.
DeSantis vs Disney

But DeSantis also joked about building a prison on Disney land and that has spun up the media into overdrive.
Fox vs Dominion
The $1.6 billion defamation trial between Fox News and Dominion Voting is set to kick off today in Deleware after a 24-hour judge-approved recess was granted to give both sides a shot at reaching a settlement. The trial will have no live stream and is expected to see Tucker Carlson, Maria Bartiromo, and Rupert Murdoch testify over the next six weeks.

Against Women’s Sports
