Debate Fallout
Donald Trump announced last night that he will not participate in any additional debates before the election. The news comes as CBS News in partnership with Univision and The Wall Street Journal has invited both candidates to participate in a debate in October on the campus of Arizona State University.
Harry Enten on CNN pointed out that despite Kamala’s surge in enthusiasm among young people, she is still drastically underperforming Biden’s 2020 margins against Trump among the same demographic. Watch:
Ryan Girdusky went on CNN to discuss Kamala’s evolving policy positions. Read the parallel piece at National Review.
Israel
The Israeli Defense Force killed nine Hamas terrorists in an airstrike on a neighborhood in Gaza. Three of the nine terrorists were also employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA). This is further proof that some UN employees are bi-vocational terrorists working with Hamas well before October 7th.
The Israeli military attacked an Iranian underground missile factory in Syria that was used to supply Hezbollah with advanced weapons systems to attack Israel. While the IDF has not commented on the operation, it appears the sophisticated attack incorporated Israeli commandos descending from helicopters and long-range airstrikes aimed at retrieving sensitive information from the secretive site. The site is where chemical weapons were developed before the Syrian civil war started in 2011 which resulted in over 500,000 deaths.
Ukraine vs Russia
Britain and the U.S. are poised to cross a decisive Rubicon in the Ukraine war on Friday at a White House summit where they will discuss plans to allow Kyiv to strike targets inside Russia with Western-supplied missiles.
In a final bid to scare off the West, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned on Thursday evening he would regard such an agreement as tantamount to NATO directly entering the war. “This will mean that NATO countries, the United States, and European countries are fighting Russia,” he said.

WSJ: Boeing Union Goes on Strike, Halting 737 Production
Boeing’s biggest labor union went on strike, halting production of its best-selling jets and dealing the latest blow to the struggling aerospace giant.
Thousands of machinists who build Boeing’s 737, 777 and 767 jets walked off the job shortly after midnight Pacific time Friday, after rejecting a labor deal struck between the union’s leaders and Boeing’s executives. The contract offered 25% wage increases over four years.
Union leaders of the 33,000-member International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers chapter said about 94% of their members voted to reject the contract and 96% voted to go on strike. The officials said they would seek to return to the negotiating table with the company.

Market snapshot:
WSB is running Kamala Harris ads on Erick's show talking about Project 2025, complete with the usual lies about its contents.
Since these lies can easily be fact-checked by a simple document search, why haven't we seen more of this? The only fact-check of P2025 I know of was the one done by Jonah Goldberg's Dispatch.
So Boeing union workers turned down 25% wage increases over four years, that's 6.25% increase every year.
Fools
That' is well above the average pay increase. They, like everyone else, needs more money just to maintain their living standard of 4 years ago. That is Biden-Harris and progressive liberal policies.
They need to use their power of choice in the election to get Trump elected and in 4 years they will be better off, rather than extorting their employer because the politicians they support f'ed up the economy.
