GOP Senate Problems
The National Republican Senatorial Committee announced the group would be much more involved in the primary process following a poor performance in 2022 thanks to a plethora of weak candidates. The group is now led by Sen. Steve Daines of Montana who has sought to bridge the gap between Trump and the establishment.

A significant point relayed in this CNN piece is an alleged ceasefire between Mitch McConnell’s Senate Leadership Fund and the National Republican Senatorial Committee which were at all-out war last cycle.
The Leak
Yesterday we covered that top secret military documents had been leaked onto an obscure Discord server and an investigation had ensued. Today, Pentagon officials have revealed to Politico they are panicked over the “sensitivity and sheer amount of information exposed.”
The leak is claimed to be worse than what disgraced CIA operative Edward Snowden leaked at the time. The information contained in the documents was so sensitive that only those with the highest security clearances were able to view them. The National Security Council spokesperson claimed that additional classified material may still be out there stating, “We don’t know. We truly don’t.”
Here are three takeaways from the leak aggregated by Politico:
U.S. doubts Ukraine counteroffensive will yield big gains, leaked document says - The Washington Post (paywall)
Egypt secretly planned to supply rockets to Russia, leaked U.S. document says - The Washington Post (paywall)
Leaked US intel: Russia operatives claimed new ties with UAE - AP News
Blatant White House Lies
The White House is literally making up lies to promote gun control efforts. Karine Jean-Pierre said yesterday, "If you think about Assault Weapons Ban...We saw gun violence go down. When it sunset 10 years later, it went back up!" Statistically speaking, this is completely inaccurate.
Again, we would embed the video but Substack is being difficult. Here is the link.
