Now if a list of those snipers who hunted people and children could be found it would enlighten those who are middle class and below.

Erickson, I am in IT with an advance degree and was an avionics tech in the military. I disagree with you about the H1B Visa because even those people had to be trained somewhere. I understand there is a need for special skill sets but many recent graduates especially those from engineering schools have the same skills as those being pursued by the H1B VISA program. They just have not had the entry-level training needed to advance their skills. You had people call in and say they can't find the talent and its high tech not like WW2 where you could train average people for those task. What happened to the apprentice programs since everyone has to start somewhere? We don't use H1B Visa's for our military pilots, or techs in the military because they are trained and many are in their early 20's, some out of high school. The bottom line is this is about money and we say this problem in the early 2000's when after the dot com bust, people stop going into STEM careers, making the US vulnerable which is concerning.

Rich ‘sniper tourists’ allegedly paid $90K to shoot civilians — including kids — during ‘human safari’ trips to Sarajevo

I call BS on this story.

Remove the demand of 600,000 Chinese students, and the price of education may get more reasonable. According to Supply and Demand.

Re: "NYT- Epstein Alleged in Emails That Trump Knew of His Conduct"

As Hillary's shenanigans have demonstrated..... emails mean nothing.

The ACA has every single one of our stats: what we have, the meds we take, etc. Why can't R's divide us BACK into risk groups & then privatize those programs? I've spent time in Aus, NZ, Malaysia, Egypt, etc. Those countries have special 'clinics' that those who can afford to, use. 'Regular' 'insurance' is not good in those counties. Regular folks have the wait times that the UK & Canada are famous for. They still come here or Europe for care, mostly the US.

I have never understood why government health care is always a ceiling and never a floor.

Donald is going all in on his populism. Marco Rubio with aspirations for higher office should be wary… At what date will Congressional Republicans abandon ship on tariffs?

Joy Reid is back on the air?

Beverly's avatar

Right? What the heck!

Alan Ratliff's avatar

The hubris of the comments from the clip (I don’t know which lady is Joy Reid) is palpable and laughable.

Jackie N Charlotte's avatar

Joy Reid is the one with the blond, close-cropped hair. She used to have a show on MSNBC but was let go/cancelled. She is uber, uber liberal. The other woman is Abby Phillips who has a show on CNN - it’s a roundtable discussion format which is allegedly bi-partisan. Scott Jennings is a regular on that show and he routinely slays the liberals around the table. (I don’t personally watch the show, just see the clips on Scott on various social media platforms).

Cheesefrog's avatar

Reid is not uber liberal. She is seriously bat shit crazy.

Tariff checks will cause inflation to rise again just like the COVID stimulus checks! Want to help America, more tax cuts and less regulation and drop tariffs on all countries but China! Trump opened the economy his 1st term, He should be focusing on that again! If the economy doesn't get better, Republicans can kiss goodbye 2026 and 2028! IT'S THE ECONOMY STUPID, ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND WILL BE!

RKelly's avatar

100%

When you are a Republican you can't do anything right and everything is your fault. When you are Democrat you are victim and nothing is your fault (Mamdani will use this paradigm).

Republicans should only care what the voters say. Democrats only care about what they have to say, the voters are fools.

Trump's ego is President.

Girls will be boys and boys will be girls

It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world

Carol Baril's avatar

I honestly have no idea what your thought on this reply to my comment is about? Right now the market is doing great but not translating to day to day lives of a lot of voters! Individual debt is too high and companies are laying off workers! That's not good! If Trump focuses on the actual economy not just the market and gets the economy roaring ahead, Democrats won't have any issues to run on except TDS which isn't selling when the economy is good!

RKelly's avatar

Trump cares about himself, MAGA lemmings, and BS stats like "the market is up". The market is not the economy.

I want to go out on a date with my wife, she wants to go on a cruise, we want to save liquid cash for an emergency.

Our contributions to the IRA have been reduced to almost nothing, I am doing $600 less in the HSA next year so the monthly cost remains the same.

We have assets that are meant for retirement, not for today.

If I lost my job I would have difficulty finding another and if I did it would certainly be a lower salary.

If you're driving a nice car over a nice bridge you feel confident, if the bridge is dangerous you don't feel so good, nice car aside.

I don't want Democrats in charge and Trump being stupid is going to get me that. His MAGA clapping seals embolden him. They will just continue the useless complaining and tell me how good it was under Trump.

He was hired to fix the Biden economy, he not only hasn't, he is objectively making it worse.

Are you going by what Karoline Leavitt has said or have you seen the unredacted email? I’d certainly like to have more than suggestions. If it was Giuffre, the Dems should be able to easily confirm that much.

If Trump thought this was going away, he’s been proven sorely wrong-and the louder he howls, the worse it looks..

I thought the $2000. tariff checks was someone’s pipe dream. They can’t be serious. Are the going to take taxes out of them ? What a vicious cycle. Can we get it together please.

Mary Jo Cleaver's avatar

He thinks he is invincible and he is not. The Democrats are itching to impeach him. If he seriously floats more crazy stuff like this, they might get enough Republican votes to remove him.

There are three years left in his term, he is showing his age, and Vance is young and doing everything he can to position himself.

He has some solid accomplishments, but when he is feeling insecure, the crazy comes out.

Renovating the White House, chasing a Nobel peace prize and handing out money we don’t have is beyond ludicrous.

- 600k Chinese taking college spots away from Americans? (do you realize how hard its gotten to get admitted to decent schools in the US because of all of these foreign kids)

- Huge amounts of H1B Visas to take American jobs?

- 50 Year mortgages so that people effectively rent their houses forever

- 15 year loans on cars (WTF)

How the hell is this an America First agenda? These sound like the type of ideas Kammala would have had....

Roger Beal's avatar

50-year mortgages ... next, 20-year new car loans. Paging BlackRock ...

2000 $ tariff check that most people will go out and spend on more China made crap and increase there debt while the government will spend more and borrow more to increase the National debt the math doesn’t work also Epstein emails for the Dems are smoke and mirrors period let’s talk about politicians that get elected that have a hard time rubbing two quarters together then leave congress as millionaires on a 180K salary in one of the most $$$$ city around

TravlnSuz's avatar

Oh, don't worry. There are many of us who won't get them.
