Harris’s Fake News

The Kamala Harris team manipulated media headlines from mainstream news outlets to leverage their credibility for her campaign.

The shocking details from Axios claim that Harris’s team deceptively altered headlines from The Guardian, Reuters, CBS News, and others to mimic Google search results suggesting the outlets were factually supporting various aspects of Harris's policy agenda.

The manipulative tactics don’t technically violate Google’s policies but are widely considered to be fraudulent in cases such as this. Notably, the Trump campaign is not running these sorts of ads. Spokespeople from CNN, USA Today, and NPR were all unaware that their respective organizations were being used in Harris ads and expressed concern over the matter.

Here’s the Fox News breakdown:

Kamala Harris is expected to begin rolling out policy positions this week ahead of the Democratic National Convention. These plans will look quite different from the positions she has held in the past. Consider this from Axios:

A big part of the Harris plan is to unapologetically change some of her more liberal positions, and claim her White House experience helped change her mind. Yes, when she was running for president in 2019, she was against fracking, for decriminalizing illegal border crossings, and for single-payer health care (Medicare for All).

No more. She has backed off all three.

A growing body of evidence is uniformly suggesting that Donald Trump is trailing Kamala Harris in nearly every major metric.

Here’s Frank Luntz on CNBC describing the intensity behind the support for Harris: “I haven't seen anything like this happen in 30 days in my lifetime."

Hunter Biden

Hunter Biden pressured the US government to expedite the process of greenlighting a lucrative overseas energy deal while his father was Vice President. The project in Italy incorporated the highly controversial Ukrainian gas company Burisma, where Hunter served as a board member. The request was so unusual that government officials noted they were deeply concerned about the optics of a sitting Vice President’s son making the request on behalf of a foreign country.

According to The New York Times, the Biden administration withheld these records for years and the State Department only released them the week after Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race. Hunter Biden stands trial next month for tax evasion from income gained from Bursima and other foreign businesses.

Politico: Biden harbors lingering frustration at Pelosi, Obama, Schumer

President Joe Biden is frustrated that Barack Obama wouldn’t tell him to his face that he should leave the race. He’s angry with Nancy Pelosi and views her as ruthless for ushering him out the door. And he’s still miffed at the role Chuck Schumer played, too.

Biden has told his closest aides and associates that he is coming to terms with his decision to bow out of the presidential race last month, but still harbors some frustration toward the members of his own party he believes pushed him out, according to three people familiar with Biden’s thinking who are not authorized to speak publicly about private conversations.
