Headlines From The New York Times Summit
CNBC’s Andrew Ross Sorkin moderated The New York Times DealBook Summit. Here’s what happened.
Musk: Sorkin asked Elon Musk about corporations pulling their advertising dollars from X (formally Twitter) in response to controversial statements Musk had recently made. Musk flatly said, “Don't advertise. If someone is going to try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go fuck yourself. Go fuck yourself. Is that clear? I hope it is.” Watch:
Dimon: Hours later, Jamie Dimon made headlines for praising Nikki Haley but offered a unique insight into America’s absence on the world stage as China spreads across Africa and South America. Watch:
Harris: While Kamala Harris had multiple unflattering segments we could highlight, inarguably the low point was Harris’ inability to say that Israel was following the rules of war. Watch:
Israel
Hamas is accepting responsibility for a terrorist attack at a Jerusalem bus stop that resulted in three dead Israelis and two dead terrorists. The Hamas terrorists were killed by two off-duty officers and an armed civilian who happened to be in the area.
Context: While the attack is set to further complicate future peace deals, Hamas is facing a bigger problem. The eight Israeli women and children they are exchanging for a 24-hour ceasefire are the last women and children hostages they can locate inside Gaza. According to Israeli intelligence, at least three children and 22 female Israeli hostages remain held inside Gaza by Hamas or parallel organizations.
New York: Hundreds of pro-Hamas rioters attempted to shut off the 80-foot-tall Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center which led to violent clashes with police. The disturbing videos have largely been ignored by mainstream outlets.

Kamala should have her staff create a Venn diagram with "Rules of War" in one circle, "Actions of Israel" in a second circle, and "Actions of Hamas" in the third circle.
I wonder what the rate of pay is for protesters these days? Do you get paid by the hour or event? I wonder if they offer a 401K and health insurance. Do you make more if you are seen on TV and are loud and use profanity? How about if you get arrested? Inquiring minds............
