What happened: Merrick Garland has asked a Florida judge to release the search warrant used in the raid of Donald Trump’s estate and the list of items confiscated by the FBI. The Washington Post reported the FBI was looking for classified documents relating to nuclear weapons.
Trump reaction: Trump said he approves the immediate release of the documents. U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart gave Trump’s lawyers until Friday afternoon to decide whether they oppose the request for unsealing.
What’s next: The unprecedented raid of Donald Trump’s home has many Republicans calling for Trump to expedite the announcement of his 2024 bid. Bloomberg reports that Joe Biden is gearing up for a 2024 reelection bid and expects to face Donald Trump.
Even Trump critics want answers: George Will has a piece at the Washington Post titled Garland has a political duty to explain the circus perpetrated at Mar-a-Lago. Here’s the paragraph that matters:

Fox News Poll: Race for Congress tightens

Republicans are more enthusiastic than Democrats about voting in the November election, but the spread has narrowed, according to a new Fox News national survey.
If voting today, the survey shows the race tied, as 41% would back the Democratic candidate in their House district and 41% the Republican. The GOP had a 3-point edge in July and June, and a 7-point advantage in May.
