Olympic Attacks
Firey attacks across strategic points of a high-speed rail network have crippled the ability of many spectators to attend the Paris Olympics. Nearly one million passengers had their travel plans disrupted including multiple Olympians who will miss today’s opening ceremony.
The scale, coordination, and knowledge required to execute today’s attacks have alarmed French authorities who continue to search for the perpetrator. Shockingly, no casualties have been reported.
Olympic athletes are furious over the lacking quantity and quality of food offered to them in the Olympic Village. Pervasive dietary issues including raw meat and insufficient quantities of chicken, eggs, and some carbohydrates have been widespread since the teams arrived. Some countries have resorted to bringing in their own chefs.

Kamala Cringe
An organized campaign on the left has emerged to force Kamala Harris to pick anyone for Vice President except Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. Progressive online activists are using the hashtag #GenocideJosh to berate the Harris campaign over his staunch support for Israel and his Jewish faith. A recent article in The New Republic doubled down on this, claiming that a Shaprio pick could alienate young and progressive voters.
Here’s a statement from Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY):
“Every potential nominee for Vice President is pro-Israel. Yet only one, Josh Shapiro, has been singled out by a far-left smear campaign calling him ‘Genocide Josh.’ The reason he is treated differently from the rest? Antisemitism. The antisemitic far left must never be given veto power over the selection of a presidential running mate.”
Delegates from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s team left a meeting with Kamala Harris feeling discouraged about the nominee’s position regarding Israel. While Harris claimed that Israel had a right to defend itself, she emphasized that “she will not be silent” when it comes to Gaza.
Kamala Harris did a radio interview in 2020 in which she supported the “defund the police” movement as racially charged riots engulfed the country after the death of George Floyd. The day before, Harris praised LA Mayor Garcetti for slashing $150 million from the city’s police budget before crime spiked. “This whole movement is about rightly saying, we need to take a look at these budgets and figure out whether it reflects the right priorities.”
Barack and Michelle Obama endorsed Kamala Harris after questions about the couple’s silence began to dominate Democratic circles.
Kamala Harris made a cameo appearance on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” in a get-out-the-vote attempt. The cringeworthy clip was teased on Thursday but will air tonight on Paramount+.
A Fake Trip and a Stunning Betrayal Landed Top Cartel Leaders in U.S. Hands
The arrest in the United States of two top leaders of the Sinaloa drug cartel came after what initial accounts suggest was a dramatic betrayal that saw one of the men, a son of the notorious drug lord known as El Chapo, lure the other under false pretenses onto a plane that delivered them both into the hands of American law enforcement.
One of the operatives taken into custody, Ismael Zambada García, was arguably the most powerful criminal in Mexico, a septuagenarian kingpin who helped to found the Sinaloa cartel with El Chapo decades ago and remained at large even after his partner was extradited to the United States and convicted at a trial in New York City.
The other was one of El Chapo’s own sons, Joaquín Guzmán López, who with his brothers had inherited a large swath of their father’s illicit business moving massive amounts of cocaine and fentanyl into the United States, Europe and elsewhere.

I am laughing at the disaster that is Paris. They have done so much to try and mitigate carbon footprint it is actually going to mess with everything. Athletes of this level have strict dietary needs. If they don’t meet that it puts their performance at risk.

This problem with American corporations being able to exist making generic drugs is a ubiquitous destructive result of the Global Order that encouraged American companies to train the rest of the 3rd world to become economic producers for the lower cost labor so three guys at the top working in Wall Street would become billionaires.
The US rocketed forward to fantastic economic success because of our domestic system that encouraged enterprise and rewarded productive merit. Then we got stupid and decided we should police the world and offer up our markets and industries to those other countries if they would trade with us. Today the US has a $1 trillion dollar per year trade deficit. We have been raped and pillaged while the S&P has sored.
We need a complete different approach now. We need to get the US back to a producer status even it if requires subsidizing certain industries that are critical to our security and survival. We need to stop educating the world's engineers in our universities enabling other countries to destroy us economically. We need tariffs and protections for the American workers.
The US is the platinum consumer country. We can focus on trade agreements with friendly nations that are a complement to our own needs, and drop the Global Order.
