Polling Data
The Kamala Harris campaign is surging according to new polling from Fox News and USA Today.
USA Today: Kamala Harris has surged to a massive five-point lead among likely voters in a national poll. Harris’s 48% - 43% lead marks an eight-point swing from Donald Trump’s June lead over Biden in the same poll.
Fox News: In a survey of four battleground states, Kamala Harris has jumped into a tight lead in Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada while Trump leads in North Carolina. The surge of support from women, Black voters, and young voters has reversed the 5-point lead that Trump held over Biden in all four of the states.
Gallup: Eight in ten Democrats tell Gallup they are more enthusiastic than usual about voting this November compared to only 64% of Republicans. The alarming data for the GOP is a significant jump from 55% of Democrats who expressed the same sentiment in March.
Interview
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz sit down for the campaign’s first interview with Dana Bash at 1:45 this afternoon. The interview will air tonight at 9 PM on CNN.
The Editorial Board at The National Review has the questions CNN should ask.
BREAKING: ABC News just rejected Kamala Harris’s request to change the debate rules to leave mute mics live during the entire debate. The ABC debate will have mics muted as they were in the CNN debate between Trump and Biden.
‘It Is Not the Job of the Pro-Life Movement to Vote for President Trump.’
For years, the anti-abortion activist Lila Rose has pushed the GOP to curtail access to abortion. But now, as Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance conspicuously soften their abortion message ahead of the November election, Rose — who leads the prominent anti-abortion group Live Action — is embracing a more radical strategy: Urging her followers not to vote for Trump unless he changes course.
That position — which she teased in a series of social media posts earlier this week — defies both Democratic and Republican common sense about Trump’s strategy on abortion. In the eyes of many Democrats and anti-abortion conservatives who support Trump, a second-term Trump would still be sympathetic to the anti-abortion cause — even if he needs to moderate his message to win in November.

US electric utilities brace for surge in power demand from data centers
U.S. electric utilities predict a tidal wave of new demand from data centers powering technology like generative AI, with some power companies projecting electricity sales growth several times higher than estimates just months earlier.
Nine of the top 10 U.S. electric utilities said data centers were a main source of customer growth, leading many to revise up capital expenditure plans and demand forecasts, according to a Reuters analysis of company earnings reports from the first three months of the year.

Market snapshot:
Erick, with the addition of three other candidates on the ballot how will that impact voting percentages? Assume Trump will be hurt most, right?
Erick, please quit posting anything that like, "Does Kamala really sound like this." I quit going deep sea fishing for this same reason---my old body cannot puke that long or stay sick that long. I do not think I can puke for several years.
