UPDATE: SCOTUS Leaker

Who leaked the details of a draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade that earned multiple threats of violence against the SCOTUS justices? We don’t know. That was the official decision reached after the internal investigation concluded in a 20-page report that captured 126 formal interviews of 97 employees. Here’s the paragraph from the report that matters:

The pandemic and resulting expansion of the ability to work from home, as well as gaps in the court’s security policies, created an environment where it was too easy to remove sensitive information from the building and the court’s I.T. networks, increasing the risk of both deliberate and accidental disclosures of court-sensitive information.

March For Life

The first March For Life rally since the fall of Roe v Wade takes place today in Washington, DC. The massive annual pro-life rally turns out 50,000 to 100,000 supporters every year but is largely ignored by the media.

This year is different: This year’s route will end at the U.S. Capitol building signifying that “the battle post-Roe has shifted to the legislature.”
